CBIC extends timeline for GST CMP-08 and FORM GSTR-4
7th July 2020 is the extended date for submission of GST CMP- 08 for the quarter ending on 31st March 2020 and 15th July 2020 is the extended date for submission of FORM GSTR-4 for the year ending on 31st March 2020.
Government of Haryana provides Financial Assistance to the construction workers registered with construction welfare board
Workers who have registered with the Haryana Building and other construction workers’ welfare board but not registered under “Mukhya Mantri Parivaar Samridhi Yojana” shall be provided with an interim relief of Rs. 1000/- per week per family during the lockdown period starting from 30th March.
GSTN Issues Advisory on Tracking GST Refund Application Status
The Goods and Service Tax Network on 28th March 2020 in its news and update column has issued an advisory on tracking GST refund application status on GSTN portal which helps the taxpayer to know the stage at which the pending refund application is with the tax officer.

DGFT removes restrictions on the export of 24 Pharma ingredients and medicines
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade in its notification dated 6th April 2020 has removed the restriction on export of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and formulations including antibiotics, vitamins, and hormones as well as their formulations placed by earlier notification dated 3rd March 2020.
DGFT amends the export policy of Diagnostic Kit
Directorate General of Foreign Trade in its notification dated 4th April 2020 has restricted the export of diagnostic kits falling under any ITCHS (Indian Trade Clarification based on Harmonized System of Coding) code with immediate effect.
DGFT allows digitally signed electronic certificates of origin to be used
It is requested to the importing countries to accept digitally signed certificates in the interim period until the exceptional circumstances on account of the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
