Recyclers must Generate EPR Certificates through EPR Portal
Recyclers who handle electronic waste are now mandated to maintain records of sales and purchases of different recovered materials and e-waste through invoices linked to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system. These records are essential for generating the EPR Certificate on the EPR Portal. In order to comply with this requirement, recyclers must adopt e-invoices through the GST Portal for the sale and purchase of various recovered materials and e-waste.

Central Government reduces Basic Import Duty on Edible Oils
The decision comes as part of the government’s efforts to implement measures aimed at reducing the prices of Edible Oils in the domestic market. By lowering the Import Duty on Refined Sunflower Oil and Refined Soyabean Oil, the government aims to benefit consumers and ease domestic retail prices.
Revised applicability limit for E-invoices for registered persons under Gujarat Goods and Service Tax, Rules, 2017
Prior to the recent amendment by the Gujarat government, the E-invoice applicability limit stood at 10 Crore rupees. However, with the new notification, the registered persons under Gujarat Goods and Service Tax, Rules, 2017 whose aggregate turnover in a financial year exceeds five crore rupees shall prepare E-invoice.
Commercial Tax Department of Jharkhand issues GST related relaxation
The registered persons who failed to furnish a valid return within a period of thirty days from the service of the assessment order issued on or before the 28th day of February, 2023 shall furnish the said return on or before the 30th day of June 2023.
