ESIC has clarified that Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) & Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is required only for empanelment of Private entities under ESIC, it is not required for Government Institutions. They shall follow the guidelines as in ESIC Operational Manual 2023 for providing Super Specialty and Specialty services.
