Guide to Accessing and Using the E-Compostable Plastics Web Portal

The Central Pollution Control Board has issued a guide provides step-by-step instructions for manufacturers and sellers to register and submit applications on the E-Compostable Plastics web portal.

Accessing the Portal and New Registration

1. Open the Portal: Navigate to the E-Compostable Plastics web portal
2. Start New Registration: For new users, click on the “Sign up New User” button.
3. Fill Initial Details: A form will open where you need to provide partial information including:
   • Company Name
   • Contact Person Name
   • Mobile Number
   • Company Pan Card No.
   • Email Address (ensure this is the authorized person’s email).
4. Select User Type: Choose your user type as both ‘Seller’ and ‘Manufacturer’.

Filling and Submitting the Application

1. Start New Application: Once you have registered and successfully logged into the system, select “New Application”. Some details from your registration form will be auto-fetched.
2. Save and Confirm: Ensure all information filled is accurate, then save and confirm the details.
3. Document Upload Requirements:
   • All files for upload must be in PDF format.
   • The maximum size for each file is 2MB.
   • The Undertaking letter specifically needs to be on ₹100/- Stamp paper, duly Notarized, and signed by the Authorized person.
   • Tip: It is highly advisable to keep all required uploading documents handy before starting the application for a seamless process.

Tracking Application Status and Communication

1. View Status: You can check the status of your application on the “Applicant DASHBOARD”.
2. Alerts: Timely alerts regarding your application will be sent via SMS and E-mail.
3. Regular Checks: It is recommended to check the portal regularly for updates on your application form.

Support and Password Recovery

• Chat Support: For any queries, a chat box is provided on the portal to contact support for prompt replies.
• Forgot Password: If you forget your password, click on the “Forget Your Password” option. Enter your registered email ID, and a link to set up a new password will be sent to that email ID. Click the link to reset your password.
