The change was approved during the 108th Board Meeting held on May 19, 2025, and formally notified on June 19, 2025.
This reduction applies to all recycling and reprocessing industries operating within Assam and takes immediate effect. It is expected to promote compliance, improve environmental management, and support the state’s efforts toward a greener industrial ecosystem.
