BIS Issues New Standards for Adjustable Speed Drive Systems

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), under the Department of Consumer Affairs, has released a new notification dated April 2, 2025, regarding the establishment of Indian Standards for adjustable speed electrical power drive systems. These new standards aim to update and replace older norms to improve system efficiency and interoperability.
