Boilers Act, 2025 to Come into Effect from 1st May

 The Central Government has officially announced that the Boilers Act, 2025 will come into effect from May 1, 2025. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, specifically through the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under statutory powers granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Act.

The Boilers Act, 2025, is expected to modernize and streamline regulations surrounding the operation, inspection, and safety of boilers in India, aligning with current industrial standards and technological advancements. It aims to enhance safety compliance and efficiency across industries that rely on boiler systems.

Industry experts anticipate that the implementation of this Act will bring greater accountability and updated safety protocols, benefiting sectors such as manufacturing, power generation, and infrastructure.
