CDSCO Organizes Round Table to Discuss Cosmetics Regulations with Stakeholders

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has invited manufacturers, importers, and industry associations to a roundtable meeting to discuss issues related to cosmetics regulations. A circular on this meeting was issued on November 12, 2024.

The meeting is scheduled for November 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM at CDSCO headquarters in New Delhi. It aims to foster dialogue and collaboration between regulators and industry representatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

The CDSCO seeks to facilitate open communication with stakeholders in the cosmetics industry including:

  1. Indian Beauty and Hygiene Association (IBHA)
  2. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)
  3. Cosmetic Europe Personal Care Association (CEPCA)
  4. Personal Care Product Council (PCPC)
  5. Association of Regulatory Affairs Professionals (ARAP)
  6. All other concerned stakeholders

Companies and associations are encouraged to nominate representatives well-versed in cosmetics regulations to attend the meeting. Participants are also requested to submit specific agenda points they wish to discuss beforehand. This will help ensure a focused and productive discussion.

  • Name of the organization
