The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has announced an extension to the deadline for participating environmental laboratories to submit their test reports for the 37th Analytical Quality Control (AQC) exercise. This announcement was made through an office order dated May 15, 2025.
It follows an earlier office order dated April 16, 2025, the deadline has been extended by two weeks, now falling on June 4, 2025.
The CPCB cited a delay in sample delivery as the reason for this extension. This additional time is provided to all participating laboratories for the submission of their test reports related to the samples with the certificate dated April 17, 2025, specifically for the parameters “Heavy Metals and Physicochemical”.
This extension aims to ensure that all participating laboratories have sufficient time to complete their testing and submit accurate reports, despite the initial delays in receiving the necessary samples for the 37th AQC exercise.
