Employees’ State Insurance Corporation vide its circular dated 7th July, 2021 has restored clause 2(f) of Rules for the Recognition of Union of the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Corporation and Federations of such unions. The union of employees of ESI Corporation and Federation of such union now requires compulsory registration under ‘The Trade Unions act, 1926’.
