However, it’s worth noting that the offices of the Registrar of Assurances and Collector of Stamp Revenue in Kolkata are exempt from this early closure. This adjustment in operating hours is in reverence for Jamai Shasthi, a cherished Bengali tradition celebrating the bond between sons-in-law and their families.
