Mini bus fares revised from June 15 in Tamil Nadu

The Government of Tamil Nadu has officially announced a fare revision for mini buses under the New Comprehensive Scheme, 2024, by issuing amendments through the Home Department (Transport-I) on April 28, 2025. This change is exercised under Section 67(1)(d) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

The notification, printed in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, expands the existing fare structure and updates its scope to include longer travel distances.

📈 Key Amendments to the Fare Table
