The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide circular dated 11.01.2020 has provided an exemption to the requirement of NOC from Central Ground Water Authority for grant/renewal/modification of FSSAI license as per Guidelines to control and regulate ground water extraction in India. The Micro and Small enterprises drawing ground water less than 10 cum/day are exempt from the requirement of NOC from Central Ground Water Authority.
