The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges and institutions running Post-Graduate (PG) Medical Courses to submit their Annual Disclosure Report (ADR) online by June 3, 2025, until 6:00 PM.
This directive, issued by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) under the NMC in a Public Notice dated May 20, 2025, is in accordance with the Maintenance of Standards of Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (MSMER-2023).
As per the MSMER-2023, all medical colleges and institutions, after their establishment, are obligated to furnish an Annual Disclosure Report to the PGMEB, satisfying the conditions provided under the notified regulations of the NMC.
The Annual Disclosure Report comprises two parts:
- Standard Assessment Form Part-A: This section contains institutional information common to all PG specialties.
- Standard Assessment Form Part-B: This section is specific to the respective Broad or Super Specialty.
The required forms are available on the NMC website under the “Information Desk > Download Application Forms” section. If a specialty-specific form is not available, Form 2.1 (Master SAF FORM-B for Broad Specialty & Super Specialty) can be used.
The NMC has specified that the information to be provided under the column headings showing “Last year/ year 3” and “year part of the year” will pertain to the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Similarly, in the table for “Total eligible faculties and Senior Residents,” only eligible faculties fulfilling the attendance requirement for the same period in 2024 should be mentioned.
All medical colleges and institutes running PG Medical Courses are directed to fill in the relevant forms and submit them along with the requisite fee of ₹ 50,000/- plus 18% GST for each PG Medical Course. The payment of fees must be strictly made through the designated window on the NMC portal, and payments made through any other mode will be considered null and void.
The path for uploading the ADRs and paying the fees will be available on the NMC’s designated portal.
