PCI Issues Urgent Call for Additional Information from Pharmacy Institutions

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued an urgent notice to all pharmacy institutions that have applied for approval under Section 12 for the Academic Session 2025-2026, requiring them to submit additional information through a dedicated online module. The PCI has informed institutions that they must complete the “U/s 12 Additional Information Form” available on the DIGI-PHARMed Portal. This is a mandatory requirement for institutions seeking approval under Section 12 for the upcoming academic session.

The online module for submitting this information will be accessible on the applicable institution’s DIGI-PHARMed profile starting April 7, 2025. Institutions are required to submit all necessary details within 10 days, with the deadline being April 16, 2025.

Institutions are required to provide information in the following forms:

  1. Faculty Details Information (Details required for each faculty member)
  2. Academic Summary Information
  3. Examination Information
  4. Library details
  5. Equipment details
  6. Institution Fee Structure details
  7. Student Academic Activity details (Details required for each student)

Institutions must provide information for the following academic sessions:

  • D. Pharm/B. Pharm (Practice): Last two academic sessions.
  • Pharm. D (PB): Last three academic sessions.

Institutions must ensure accurate and complete data entry for faculty and students, as requested in the respective forms. They are required to use the “add information for multiple data entry” option to input all past records according to the specified tenure.

The PCI has stressed the importance of timely submission of this additional information. Failure to comply with the deadline may affect the institution’s application for approval under Section 12 for the 2025-2026 academic session.
