PCI Offices to Close in Delhi, Parts of Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh for Elections

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued an office order dated February 3, 2025 that its office will remain closed on February 5, 2025. The closures are to facilitate voting during the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the NCT of Delhi and bye-elections in two Assembly Constituencies each in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.

This closure is in accordance with an office memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, dated January 17, 2025.

Central government offices, including industrial establishments, will be closed on February 5, 2025, in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and certain constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh due to elections.
