The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced the commencement of the ranking and rating process for pharmacy colleges offering the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) program, in collaboration with the Quality Council of India (QCI). The registration portal for institutions will open on June 15, 2025.
This initiative aims to establish a robust quality assessment framework for D. Pharma programs, ensuring higher standards and better outcomes in pharmacy education across the country. All institutions approved under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, are required to register for this process.
A one-time registration fee of Rs. 50,000/- plus GST is to be paid to QCI via online mode.
Key Dates for the D. Pharma Ranking and Rating Process:
- Registration on QCI Portal: June 15th, 2025, onwards
- Application Submission: July 1st – July 31st, 2025
- Training of Assessors and Colleges: July 1st – July 31st, 2025
- Desktop Review: July 15th – August 15th, 2025
- Onsite Visit: September 15th, 2025, onwards
