The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for pharmacy colleges offering undergraduate programs, as part of the ongoing ranking and rating initiative by the Quality Council of India (QCI). The registration link will now remain active until June 15, 2025.
This extension comes in response to numerous inquiries received by the Council regarding registration and dropdown selections. The ranking and rating process aims to enhance the quality and standards of pharmacy education across the country.
All institutions approved under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, are mandated to register on the QCI portal. A one-time non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,00,000 plus GST is required to be paid to QCI via online mode.
Key Dates for the Ranking and Rating Process
- Registration on QCI Portal: Extended to June 15th, 2025
- Application Submission: June 15th – July 31st, 2025
- Training of Assessors and Colleges: June 15th – July 31st, 2025
- Desktop Review: June 15th – August 14th, 2025
- Onsite Visit: From September 1st, 2025, onwards
