The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a crucial notification setting a firm deadline for all pharmacy institutions that have applied for the 2025-2026 academic session. The final date for submitting appeals or compliances regarding statutory documents for new institutions, introduction of new courses, or increase in intake for the upcoming academic year is June 30, 2025.
The directive is addressed to all concerned pharmacy institutions. It underscores the window available for applicants to address any discrepancies or provide additional information required for their approvals.
Institutions seeking approval as new entities, those planning to introduce new academic programs, or existing institutions aiming to increase their student intake for the 2025-2026 session, must ensure that all relevant appeals and compliance documents are submitted exclusively through the PCI portal.
Key Submission Guidelines
Online Portal Only: All submissions, including appeals and supporting documents, must be uploaded on the PCI portal under the designated “appeal” section. The Council has explicitly stated that no hard copies or email submissions will be accepted.
Document Legibility and Language: Applicants must ensure that all supporting documents and documentary evidence are clearly legible. Furthermore, documents must be either in English or Hindi. If original documents are in any other language, a translated copy, duly attested by the principal of the institution, is mandatory.
The PCI has also indicated that a prior notification regarding this process was sent through its portal, urging institutions to refer to it for comprehensive details.
This stringent deadline and adherence to online submission protocols are designed to streamline the approval process for the upcoming academic year. Pharmacy institutions are strongly advised to meticulously review their applications and submit all necessary appeals and compliances well in advance of the June 30, 2025, cut-off to avoid any last-minute issues, as the Registrar-cum-Secretary, Anil Mittal, emphasized the importance of timely action.
