The Pharmacy Council of India has issued a notification regarding the submission of additional information by institutions seeking approval under Section 12 (U/S 12) for the academic session 2025–2026. The Council has identified a significant number of institutions that have failed to submit complete documentation, despite an earlier directive.
Referring to Circular dated April 7, 2025, the Council had originally opened the additional information submission form to facilitate proper scrutiny of the applications. However, it has now been observed that several institutions have not provided the required details in full.
To address this gap, the Council has announced a 10-day reopening of the submission window — from May 31 to June 9, 2025. During this period, all concerned pharmacy institutions are expected to upload the complete data as specified in the original circular.
The Council has made it clear that failure to submit the necessary information within this extended timeframe will result in the application being marked as an “Incomplete SIF” (Standard Inspection Format), which may lead to rejection for the 2025–2026 academic session.
Institutions are urged to act promptly to avoid any adverse impact on their application status.
