The Finance Department of Puducherry has issued a notification announcing a revision in the daily wages of Full Time Casual Labourers (FTCL) across various departments. The change follows the enhancement of Dearness Allowance (DA) from 53% to 55% for regular government employees drawing pay as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, effective January 1, 2025.
The new wage rates are applicable from 01.01.2025 and are categorized by job roles and responsibilities.

This wage revision is aimed at ensuring parity and fair compensation in line with inflation and central government pay guidelines. The official order can be accessed from the Finance Department portal of the Government of Puducherry.
