The Ministry of Labour and Employments vide a Press Release dated 31st May 2021 has extended second non-refundable COVID-19 advance to EPFO members. EPFO has also launched a system driven auto claim settlement process for members who completed KYC compliances. Auto-mode settlement is expected to reduce the claim cycle to three days. The advance is extended to support subscribers in view of second wave of the pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
