AYUSH Regional Review Meeting of North Eastern States
During the meeting, all participating states, including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura, presented detailed presentations on the state of Ayush and the progress of leading Ayush programs under implementation. Health Ministers from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura actively participated in the brainstorming session.

Ministry of AYUSH issues Guidelines for Central Sector Scheme for Ayurgyan
Formerly, the Ministry had two separate schemes for the promotion of AYUSH’s education and Research. The Ministry, through these guidelines, now proposes to merge both schemes under one umbrella scheme namely “AYURGYAN Scheme” to support Education, Research & Innovation in AYUSH by providing academic activities., training, Capacity Building etc.
Ministry of AYUSH publishes Handbook on Common Yoga Protocol
The booklet contemplates the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) and it also permits leading yoga institutions to incorporate institutional yogic practices such as pranayama, yoga nidra, dhyana and satsang before sankalpa.
MNRE provides list of digital resources for International Day of Yoga
The publication includes Common Yoga Protocol Videos in Hindi, English and 14 Regional Languages. Furthermore, the publication also provides links to the Ministry of Ayush’s website and social media platforms along with links to other institutions such as Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) and National Institute of Nutrition (NIN).
Ministry of AYUSH issues a Call for Papers on Special Issue of JDRAS on “Millets- The Nutri-cereals”
To commemorate the International Year of Millets and identify potential research gaps and future avenues, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) will be publishing a special issue of JDRAS on “Millets: The Nutri-cereals.” The special issue is scheduled for release on Ayurveda Day 2023. The Journal invites research papers, reviews, short communications, perspectives, book reviews, and systematic reviews.
