💰 Social Security and Welfare Fund

  • The Telangana Gig and Platform Workers’ Social Security and Welfare Fund will be created.
  • Sources of the fund:
    • Welfare fund fees from platforms.

  • Up to 5% of funds may be used for administrative expenses.

🧾 Accounts, Audit, and Annual Report

  • The Board must maintain and audit accounts annually through the State Accountant General.

⚖️ Penalties for Non-Compliance

  • Aggregators/platforms failing to pay welfare fees may face:
    • Up to 1-year imprisonment, or
    • A fine up to 2 lakhs, or both.
  • Failure to submit mandatory data/information can result in fines up to 50,000.
