The Government of Tripura, through its Labour Department, has revised the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for workers engaged at the OTPC Power Project, Palatana, with effect from April 1, 2025.
This revision is based on the six-monthly average Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the period July to December 2024, which stands at 137 points. It follows the earlier VDA settlement issued on December 30, 2022.
Employers and contractors operating at the OTPC site are mandated to implement the new wage structure, which applies to workers across all skill categories.
