The Government of West Bengal, Department of Labour, has issued a notification inviting eligible companies, partnerships, joint ventures, and individuals to apply for Short Term Settlement (STS) grants aimed at reviving abandoned or closed tea gardens across the state.
Eligibility and Application Process
Entities eligible under clause (a) or (b) of paragraph 1 of the Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) can apply for empanelment and STS consideration. Applications may be submitted:
- Individually, or
- In a Joint Venture/Consortium,
- With or without prior empanelment
provided they follow the format annexed as Annexure-A .
