DIN Deactivated for non-filing of DIR-3KYC

DINs which have not complied with the requirement of filing DIR-3 KYC have since been marked as ‘Deactivated due to non-filing of DIR-3 KYC’. Such DINs are not allowed to be used for filing any eforms on MCA21 portal, until DIR 3KYC is filed.

Amendment to Rule 11 relevant to section 186 of Companies Act, 2013

The amendment is brought in Rule 11(2) which defines the term “Business of Financing of companies”, where the term has been amended to “Business of Financing Industrial Enterprises” to bring it in line with the sub-section 11 of section 186. Apart from the above, there has been no change in the definition.

IBBI Invites Comments on Regulation Notified under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016

The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in its press release has issued a notice inviting public views / suggestions on the institutional framework for regulation and development of valuation professional. The issues on which the views of the stakeholders are invited are Issue on valuation profession, market for valuation profession, regulatory architecture, functions of the regulator, valuation professionals, development of profession and transitional mechanism.

Self-Assessment forms made available in GHMC Website for Swachh Ranking

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has developed a Self Assessment Form to be filled by every hospital, hotels, schools etc in the city to ease the task of assessment. The GHMC has divided the city into 30 circles. For the purpose of assessment, four primary categories have been identified viz. Segregation of Waste, Collection and Transportation of Waste, Civic Engagement and Safety and Monitoring.

SEBI issues framework to issue permissible securities for listed companies. The frameworks lays down the eligibility of to issue permissible security, obligations of a company, who is a permissible holder, voting rights, pricing, obligations of Indian Depository, Foreign Depository and Domestic Custodian, permissible jurisdiction and international exchanges and power to remove difficulties.
