The President of India has inaugurated a two-day scientific convention on Homoeopathy at the Yashobhoomi Conventional Centre Dwarka. A press release was issued on April 9, 2024 in anticipation of the event.
The event is organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) under the Ministry of Ayush. The event also coincides with World Homoeopathy Day and carries the theme “Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency: A Homoeopathic Symposium.”
The convention aims to promote a more robust healthcare system by:
- Encouraging evidence-based research in homoeopathic treatment for clinical practice and public health programs.
- Equipping the homoeopathic community with research-driven therapeutic approaches.
- Positioning homoeopathy as a reliable source of personalized, safe, and effective healthcare.
- Integrating advanced diagnostics and therapeutics into homoeopathic medicine for improved patient outcomes.
Inaugural Ceremony and Publications
The ceremony will be followed by a session honoring eight esteemed Padma Awardees and the launch of 17 CCRH publications. These publications cover diverse topics such as homoeopathic drug proving, drug monographs, historical perspectives on homoeopathy in Northeast India, and advancements in homoeopathic materia medica. Additionally, a mobile application on Standard Treatment Guidelines in Homoeopathy (STGH) will be unveiled.
Subsequent sessions will feature insightful talks and panel discussions on various themes, including:
- Modern perspectives and empowering homoeopathy
- Clinician perspectives and advancing practice
- Translational research
- Evidence-based research and practical experience
- Epidemics and public health considerations in homoeopathy

Additionally, over the two days, the convention will showcase around 80 poster presentations and host an exhibition with 30 pharmaceutical and other firms. This comprehensive event offers a unique platform for learning, collaboration, and advancement in the field of homoeopathy.
