Measures to facilitate elderly, persons with disabilities, and others, Centre directs States/UT’s for special dispensation to beneficiaries
The ministry is allocating food grains to States/UTs for distribution through the Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS) to around 80 crore beneficiaries/households covered under NFSA under the two categories (a) Antyodaya Anna Yojanna (AAY) and (b) Priority Households (PHH).

Punjab Liquor License (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023
The rules revise the amount of fixed annual license fee and security in respect of different kinds of licenses. They also introduce a special license fee on Punjab Medium Liquor, Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Imported Foreign Liquor.
Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Amendment Rules, 2023
The amendment rules have introduced a provision for ‘deferred tax related to assets and liabilities arising from a single transaction’. Entities shall apply this provision for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1st April, 2023.

Rajasthan waives its Late Fees for its GST Annual Return
The State Government waives the late fee for the financial year 2022-23 onwards, which is in excess of amount and for the classes of registered persons specified in this notification.
Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2023
The amendment provides that where an applicant opts for authentication of Aadhaar number, he shall, while submitting the application, undergo authentication of Aadhaar number and the date of submission of the application in such cases shall be the date of authentication of the Aadhaar number, or fifteen days from the submission of the application in Part B of FORM GST REG-01.
