BIS Revises Standards for Chicken Feeds, Petroleum Products, Textiles, Paper and Plywood

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued new certain standards for Chicken Feeds, Petroleum Products, Textiles, Paper and Plywood. These notifications were published on March 30, 2024.

Some of the new standards are on the following:

  • Chicken Feeds
  • Carmoisine, Food Grade and
  • Irrigation Equipment

These standards were stablished on March 26, 2024. The previous versions of these standards will be withdrawn from September 26, 2024.

BIS has also issued standards on:

  • Petroleum and its Product
  • Geographic Information
  • Power Systems Management and Associated Information Exchange

These standards were stablished on March 26, 2024. The previous versions of these standards, if any, will be withdrawn from April 26, 2024.

Additionally, BIS has issued standards on:

  • Methods of Sampling and Test for Paper and Allied Products
  • Dangerous Goods
  • Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater
  • Tyre Yarns, Cords and Tyre Cord Fabrics Made from Man-Made Fibres
  • Textiles
  • Guide for Units Used in Air Quality Measurements
  • Radionuclides in Environmental Samples

These standards were stablished on March 20, 2024. The previous versions of these standards, if any, will be withdrawn from 20th April, June or September, 2024, as the case may be.

BIS has also issued standards on:

  • Marine Plywood
  • Plywood for Concrete Shuttering

These standards were stablished on March 26, 2024. The previous versions of these standards, if any, will be withdrawn from December 26, 2024, as the case may be.
