The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued revised certain standards for Rolling Bearings, Surgical Implants and Water Testing. These notifications were published on May 7 & 9, 2024.
The notified revised standards are on the following aspects:
- Rolling Bearings, Plain Bearings
- Surface Active Agent
- Data Quality
- Dental Elevators
- No-Scalpel Vasectomy Instruments
- Implants for Surgery
- Utilization of Coarse Compost Cum Soil Improver/Conditioner from Municipal Solid Waste
- Paving Bitumen
- Acetone
- Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater
- Information Technology
All these standards were established in April and May, 2024.
