Ministry of Textiles has finalized the operational guidelines for production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for textiles for promoting MMF.
The PLI Scheme is intended to promote production of MMF Apparel & Fabrics and Technical Textiles products in the country to enable textile industry to achieve size and scale; to become globally competitive and a creator of employment opportunities for people. The scheme is to support creation of a viable enterprise and competitive textile industry.

Government of Meghalaya publishes Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming Rules, 2021.
The rules requires gaming entities to obtain a license which shall be issued only to an Indian citizen or a legal entity incorporated in India. An operator is required to set up a office in Meghalaya within 30 days from the date of issue of license.

The norms for registration, establishment and maintenance of the creches including in matters of hygiene, first-aid breastfeeding and nutrition, have been stipulated under the scheme guidelines.
Essential Commodities Order, 2021.
The Ministry has declared ‘Soya Meal’ as an Essential Commodities up to 30th June, 2022 by amending the Schedule of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
Government of Himchal Pradesh reduces the stamp duty for the loans sanctioned to the Street- Vendors, Rehriwala etc.
The PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM Svanidhi) scheme was launched by the government in June 2020 to provide credit for working capital to the street vendors. Under this scheme, the street vendors can take collateral-free loans with low-interest rates for one year.
Department of Food and Public Distribution has extended the deadline upto 31st March 2022 for aadhar linking with ration card.
It is clarified that no beneficiary/household shall be deleted from the list of eligible beneficiaries/households only on the ground of not possessing an Aadhaar number, and shall also not be denied from subsidized foodgrains or cash transfer of food subsidy under NFSA due to failure of biometric/Aadhaar authentication because of network/ connectivity/ linking issues/ poor biometric of the beneficiary or other technical reasons.
