DGFT removes restrictions on the export of 24 Pharma ingredients and medicines
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade in its notification dated 6th April 2020 has removed the restriction on export of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and formulations including antibiotics, vitamins, and hormones as well as their formulations placed by earlier notification dated 3rd March 2020.
DGFT amends the export policy of Diagnostic Kit
Directorate General of Foreign Trade in its notification dated 4th April 2020 has restricted the export of diagnostic kits falling under any ITCHS (Indian Trade Clarification based on Harmonized System of Coding) code with immediate effect.

ICMR Issues advisory on rapid antibody blood test to detect COVID-19
The Indian Council of Medical Research ohas issued advisory to start rapid antibody-based blood tests for COVID-19 in areas reporting clusters and in large migration gatherings. The Reports of the tests shall be entered by the respective facilities on the ICMR portal.
