CDSCO Warns Staff Against Improper Use of Digital Signatures

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has issued a reminder to its employees regarding the proper use of Digital Signature Certificates (DSC). This circular was dated May 16, 2024.

DSCs enable secure electronic signatures for online processes like form submissions, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and document transmission.

CDSCO emphasizes that employees must use their DSCs personally in their official capacities. Sharing or allowing others to use an employee’s DSC is strictly prohibited.

CDSCO warns of strict action against employees who violate these guidelines.
