Election Commission with ‘Encore’ software for coordination of Lok Sabha election procedures. Encore software can coordinate all the processes, from the submission of nomination papers to the declaration of election results, under the supervision of the Electoral Officer. Electoral officers will be able to monitor candidate nominations, affidavits, voter count, vote counting, results, data management, and follow-up through the software. It will also provide a ‘no objection’ certificate from various departments required to get permission for political rallies, road shows, and meetings. Through the ‘Suvidha’ portal linked to Encore software, candidates and the general public can access nomination paper details, vote counting information, etc. This notification was published on March 29, 2024.
