The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is seeking public feedback on draft guidelines for the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. These draft guidelines were published through an Office Memorandum dated April 16, 2024.
The PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana initiative was launched in February 2024. It aims to install rooftop solar panels in one crore Indian homes.
The scheme boasts a total budget of Rs. 75,021 crore and targets the residential sector. Stakeholders can review the draft guidelines and submit comments or suggestions by April 23rd, 2024.
