MNER Further Extends R&D Proposal Deadline Under Green Hydrogen Mission

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has announced a final extension for submitting proposals under the National Green Hydrogen Mission’s (NGHM) R&D scheme. This extension was published by a Office Memorandum dated April 26, 2024.

The NGHM issued a call for R&D proposals on March 16, 2024, with an initial deadline of April 12, 2024.

This deadline was extended once to April 27, 2024.

Subsequently, the MNRE received requests from stakeholders for a further extension. In response to these requests, the deadline for submitting R&D proposals has been extended to May 12th, 2024. This is a final extension, and no further deadline changes will be considered.

The extension aims to provide institutions and industries more time to develop high-quality proposals for green hydrogen research and development.

All other terms and conditions outlined in the original March 16th call for proposals remain unchanged. Additionally, MNRE had also issued guidelines that outlined an R&D scheme to make green hydrogen technologies more affordable, efficient, and reliable.
