The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a final reminder to medical colleges regarding the submission of their Annual Declaration forms. This form is crucial for obtaining permission to admit students for the upcoming MBBS academic year (2024-25). Hence the NMC has issued a notice dated April 10, 2024.
The NMC had previously issued notices on March 18th, March 22nd and March 27th, 2024, urging colleges to submit their Annual Declaration details on the NMC portal. Despite extensions, some institutions have failed to comply.
The NMC has taken a serious view of this non-compliance. It has declared that any college or institution failing to submit the Annual Declaration Form by the deadline will not be granted permission to admit students for the MBBS program in the 2024-25 academic year. The NMC has fixed this deadline as April 18, 2024.
This is the final chance for medical colleges to ensure they are eligible to accept students for the next academic year. The NMC emphasizes that permission for MBBS admissions solely relies on the completion of the Annual Declaration Form.
