Processing of Applications for UG MBBS Courses for Academic Year 2024-25 Underway

The Medical Assessment & Rating Board (MARB) has issued a public notice regarding the processing of applications for Undergraduate (UG) MBBS courses for the Academic Year 2024-25. This notice comes as a continuation of MARB’s previous efforts in streamlining the medical education sector. This notice was issued on March 14, 2024.

The process, initiated through a public notice dated August 18, 2023, invited applications for the establishment of new medical institutions/colleges and the increase of MBBS seats for the upcoming academic year. The applications are being assessed in accordance with the provisions outlined in the National Medical Commission (UGMEB) Notification on Undergraduate Minimum Standard Requirements-2023.

In this latest notice, MARB has informed that it has dispatched emails to each applicant, containing crucial information regarding their application status. Applicants are advised to retrieve this letter from their email inboxes and await further instructions from the board. Through these efforts, the board aims to facilitate the establishment of new medical colleges and the expansion of MBBS seats, thereby contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services nationwide.
