The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has begun accepting registrations for the Formative Assessment Test (FAT) 2023. A public notice detailing the relevant dates was issued on May 1, 2024.

- Starts: May 1st, 2024 (3:00 PM onwards)
- Ends: May 15th, 2024 (11:55 PM)
Exam Date
FAT Theory Examination: June 9th, 2024

NBEMS website has provided an Information Bulletin (includes eligibility, fees, exam format) for the FAT Test 2023
NBEMS accredited training institutions must register trainees online through the NBEMS website. Additionally, passing FAT is mandatory for appearing in final DNB/DrNB/FNB/NBEMS Diploma examinations.
