Ministry of Ayush Celebrates Ayurveda Day 2023
Ayurveda Day is celebrated every year on Dhanvantari Jayanti. The day was celebrated this year on November 10, 2023. . The two-day program of Ayurveda Day emphasised on conversion of the mass message of Ayurveda into a mass movement through public participation and establishing Ayurveda globally.
National Dhanwantri Ayurveda Award to be conferred on Ayurveda Day
The Ministry of Ayush has decided to celebrate “Ayurveda Day” every year on the day of Dhanwantri Jayanti (Dhanteras). The Ministry has resolved to institute “National Dhanwantri Ayurveda Award” which will be conferred on that day.
Ministry of AYUSH issues a Call for Papers on Special Issue of JDRAS on “Millets- The Nutri-cereals”
To commemorate the International Year of Millets and identify potential research gaps and future avenues, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) will be publishing a special issue of JDRAS on “Millets: The Nutri-cereals.” The special issue is scheduled for release on Ayurveda Day 2023. The Journal invites research papers, reviews, short communications, perspectives, book reviews, and systematic reviews.
