CPCB Announces Change in Bank Account for Genset Application Fees
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has announced a change in the bank account details for depositing application fees related to genset applications. This new notification supersedes the Canara Bank account details mentioned in the April 21, 2023, office order. All future payments must be made to the Union Bank of India account.
Applicability of Conformity of Production (COP) for CPCB II Extended Manufacturing
Manufacturers, importers, and suppliers of Genset and Genset Engine models that benefit from the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Fourth Amendment Rules, 2023, and MoEFCC OM dated June 22, 2023, are hereby informed that they must conduct or renew Conformity of Production (COP) tests for these models. These tests should be carried out following the relevant systems and procedures and will remain valid until June 30, 2024.
MoEF&CC revises its prior OM on Supply of Gensets
MoEFCC has now decided to omit the requirement that orders for supply of genset be displayed on the websites of the genset and genset engine manufacturers before 31st July, 2023 from its prior Office Memorandum.
