Kerala PCB Clarifies Distance Criteria for Furniture Units Based on CPCB Classification

The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has issued a Circular clarifying the distance criteria that must be followed by units engaged in carpentry and wooden furniture manufacturing in the state. This clarification follows a review by the High Level Technical Committee. The clarification is based on the revised classification of industrial sectors issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

Kerala PCB Modifies Effluent Standards for Sewage Treatment Plants

The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has modified the treated sewage quality standards for all Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) in the state, whether standalone or attached to establishments, to facilitate the establishment of more liquid waste management facilities and increase treatment coverage. Kerala Govt. issues Draft Notification for Allotment for Symbols to Political Parties

The Government of Kerala under State Election Commission has issued a draft notification on 13th October, 2023, allotting symbols to political parties other than national parties and state parties to contest local bodies in the state.
