Indian Nursing Council Urges Nationwide Participation in 11th International Yoga Day

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has issued a circular calling for widespread participation from all nursing institutions across the country in the celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY), scheduled for June 21, 2025. This initiative aligns with a nationwide campaign led by the Ministry of AYUSH, promoting the unifying theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”

Pharmacy Institutions Urged to Celebrate 11th International Day of Yoga

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a directive to all pharmacy institutions approved under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, urging them to celebrate the 11th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2025. The communication emphasizes the importance of celebrating this global event, which promotes health and well-being through the practice of Yoga. All approved pharmacy institutions are requested to take necessary action for the celebration and to submit an action taken report directly to the Ministry of Ayush, with an intimation to the PCI.

India Gears Up for 10th International Day of Yoga with ‘Yoga Sangam’

All Medical Colleges and Institutions under the administrative domain of the National Medical Commission (NMC) have been specifically requested to observe the ‘Yoga Sangam’ event on June 21, 2025. These institutions are also required to submit a report of their events, including the number of participants and two HD quality photographs, to the NMC by 11:00 AM on the same day via a dedicated Google Form link.

MNRE provides list of digital resources for International Day of Yoga

The publication includes Common Yoga Protocol Videos in Hindi, English and 14 Regional Languages. Furthermore, the publication also provides links to the Ministry of Ayush’s website and social media platforms along with links to other institutions such as Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) and National Institute of Nutrition (NIN).
