Two Day Annual Research Workshop on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Concludes at IIMA

The Annual Research Workshop on Insolvency and Bankruptcy, jointly organized by the Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), wrapped up its two-day proceedings on the concluding day. Renowned figures including Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor, Government of India, and Mr. Ravi Mital, Chairperson, IBBI, Government of India, graced the inaugural ceremony alongside esteemed guests. Led by IIMA faculty members, the workshop delved into the intricacies of the Indian insolvency landscape and its global counterparts, fostering an environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange. Dr. Nageswaran emphasized the synergy between policy and academia, urging for actionable research to enhance the effectiveness of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
