A private member bill titled The Terminated Employees (Welfare) Bill, 2020 has been recently introduced in the Parliament to provide for the welfare measures for the employees who have been terminated by the employers without any fault on their part.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its Notification dated 21st February 2020 has published the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. The amendment has expanded the scope of the term pledge to include re-pledge of securities for the margin or settlement obligations of the client.
Karnataka Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) (Amendment) Rules, 1961 issued to prioritise Kannadigas in Industrial Employments
The Government of Karnataka issued a notification amending the Karnataka Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules 1961, which facilitate priority/preferential appointments of Kannadigas, who are Indian citizens and are residing in Karnataka for not less than 15 years and are able to read, write and speak Kannada language, in industrial establishments subject to suitability, qualification, experience and other requirements.
