DoT has provided for extension of timeline for registration of Unregistered Entities providing M2M services and/or WLAN/WPAN connectivity for M2M Services

The Department of Telecommunications vide circular dated 30.09.2024 has provided for extension of timeline for registration of Unregistered Entities providing M2M services and/or WLAN/WPAN connectivity for M2M Services till 15.11.2024.

Further, Authorized Telecom Licensee(s) are hereby directed to –

1. Suspend the services of M2M SIMs for M2M Services/Connectivity, issued to the unregistered entities post 15.11.24. The services may be resumed post submission of Registration Certificate by the entities.
2. Share the contact details (e-mail ID and Contact No.) of the unregistered entities (including Government Agencies), with DoT (at ajay.nain@gov.in) within 7 days of issuance of this letter.
