The notification calls on all Nursing Institutions (Colleges of Nursing, Schools of Nursing, and ANM Schools) to organize or assist in health camps in their attached or affiliated hospitals. Nursing faculty, trainee nurses, and students are directed to participate actively in a range of key activities.
Key Activities for Nursing Professionals:
- Health Camps: Students and faculty are to assist in health camps, providing various services to women and children. They are also expected to spread community awareness and help with mobilization in their adopted community health settings.
- Nikshay Mitra Enrolment: All nursing faculty and trainee nurses are directed to participate in the Nikshay Mitra Enrolment drive through the Nikshay Portal.

Nodal Officers and Reporting
To ensure effective implementation and coordination, the Principals of all nursing institutions will serve as Nodal Officers. Their responsibilities include liaising with attached hospitals, providing support for the Abhiyaan’s activities, and facilitating the dissemination of campaign messages through their social platforms.
The INC has also created a dedicated portal for data capture, and all Nodal Officers are required to upload daily activity data from their institutions. The INC has stressed the importance of these efforts in making the “Jan Abhiyaan” a success.
