The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has directed all principals of Schools and Colleges of Nursing to ensure the participation of their students in an international workshop focused on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This notification is dated October 31, 2025.
The event, organized by the UHC2030 co-sponsored by the ICN SECN Alliance, aims to build capacity among the next generation of nursing leaders.
The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and will be held virtually to accommodate participants globally.
Workshop Details and Objectives
The one-hour interactive workshop, titled “Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day 2025 Youth Capacity-Building Workshop,” is designed to empower young nursing students with the skills necessary for advocacy and action.
- Date and Time: November 4, 2025, from 07:30 PM to 08:30 PM IST (15:00 to 16:00 CET).
- Goal: The workshop aims to equip young nursing students with the tools and confidence to communicate effectively, influence decision-makers, and lead impactful action for UHC.
