The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has extended the existing ceiling prices for Orthopaedic Knee Implants for Knee Replacement System for a period of one year.
The Order dated November 14, 2025, extends the ceiling prices that were originally notified on August 16, 2017.
The previous extension was set to expire on November 15, 2025. The NPPA has now extended these ceiling prices for a further period of one year, meaning they will remain in force up to November 15, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Additionally, the comprehensive operating notes (b) to (t) of the original August 16, 2017, notification will remain in force during the currency of this extension.
